About the Skin Care Clinic
The Skin Care Clinic started as an off-shoot of Women's Health Center when Dr. Kay Mitchell began receiving a constant stream of questions from patients asking about aesthetic procedures and about the health of their aging skin. The doctors at Women's Health Center realized there was a growing need for these aesthetic and medical skin care procedures and hired Karla McAteer to begin offering aesthetic procedures. In the summer of 2007, the Skin Care Clinic expanded to its own office next door to the Women's Health Center. The Skin Care Clinic offers a separate waiting area and expanded treatments to our patients.
We serve the greater Wilson County area, with many patients in the surrounding areas. Because of the expertise and caring nature of our staff, many patients travel from miles around. Click here to learn more about our great staff!
Many places are beginning to offer aesthetic procedures, but the Skin Care Clinic is special because everyone loves their field and they pride themselves on giving customized treatments to meet their patient's needs. The staff stays on top of all of the science behind our products and services and gives our patients the answers they’re looking for so they can make an educated decision.
