What to Expect

On your first visit be prepared to tell the skin care specialist about any areas that are concerning you. Make sure you disclose your health history, all medications and any upcoming special occasions (weddings). Our staff will inform you of possible treatment plans that are right for you. Once you have agreed upon a treatment plan, we will schedule your treatment dates.

To reduce the time you'll have to spend in the waiting room, please fill out this form and bring it with you to your first appointment.

On the day of your treatment make sure you have prepared according to your treatment guidelines. The following is what you should expect for your treatment and also a reminder of how to prepare for your visit.

For Botox Cosmetic Treatments

What to Expect

Most treatments take between 15-30 minutes. Botox is a quick procedure using a very small needle. The injector will ask you to make facial movements so she can locate the correct area to inject. It will take between 3-10 days for your Botox to take effect.

How to Prepare

  • Begin taking arnica 3 days before treatment.
  • Do not take blood thinners (such as ibuprofen or Omega 3) 1 day prior to treatment.
  • Do clean area of all products (including makeup and lotions)

For Dermal Filler Treatments

What to Expect

Most treatments take between 30-90 minutes depending on the amount of correction needed. Some patients experience slight swelling that resolves within a few days. You will see immediate wrinkle correction.

How to Prepare

  • Begin taking arnica 3 days before treatment.
  • Do not take blood thinners (such as ibuprofen or Omega 3) 1 day prior to treatment.
  • Do clean area of all products (including makeup and lotions)

What to Expect

Most treatments (besides back and legs) only take about 15 minutes. You will feel suction on the area, then a warming sensation. The nurse will move the hand piece over the area very quickly. You may experience temporary redness that usually fades quickly.

How to Prepare

  • Do not tan or use self tanner 1 week prior to visit.
  • Do not wax or tweeze hairs in area being treated.
  • DO shave area the day of your visit.
  • DO clean area of all products (including makeup and lotions).
